There is tremendous satisfaction in hearing one’s own work, indeed a recording provides a means of establishing a benchmark from which to measure your development as a performer. This is where archive recordings not only provide a record of your work, but also enable you to measure progress.
Demonstration (Demo) Disks are routinely used by performers to promote their talent perhaps for entry into orchestras or choirs or to gain work as a soloist. It might be for entry into a competition, a broadcast, or to get an agent to represent you.
Of course recordings also provide a source of funding for your activities, CD’s sales are popular at performances, our commercial quality CDs can be sold at retail prices providing you with a regular income. Also they can be sold at other local events, festivals etc - wherever you choose to promote your activities.
Whenever we record you, we keep copies of the recordings so that further copies can always be ordered, but also compilations of your work can be released at future dates.
